I must admit that I do truly love a good gag gift and I’ve tried a lot of them, the fake money and lottery tickets, little fun items wrapped in funny wrapping paper and more. I found that it brings a little something special to the party and everyone enjoys a good laugh. Just to balance things out I usually accompany it with a real gift for whatever the occasion may be.

• The fake lottery ticket gag can work great when done properly. I have found that it is best to place the fake one in a card with a few real tickets. Put the fake one in the middle of the real tickets and try to buy real tickets that resemble the fake ones, you will by no means be able to find exact matches but the same color helps a lot.

• The fake money gag, if you have a reputation as somewhat of a prankster (which I do) I found it helpful to enlist an accomplice with this one. I pulled it off with the help of my mother this past Christmas, she purchased cards for each child in which we placed fake thousand dollars bills. When she handed them out she told them that she wanted to give them something special for their future college education. This worked like a charm, if it would have came from me they would have been suspicious right off the bat.

• The other way I love to use the fake money is to just drop one on the floor at work or just about any place. You’re sure to get someone with it. This also works great with the exploding money.

• The Gift Card or Certificate Gag. This is a really good one but care should be taken in regards to who you do it to. Everyone gets restaurant gift cards at some point, well these can be useful more than just once. Here is what you do, go out to dinner and enjoy your dinner using your gift card but don’t use it all, do your best to leave a dollar or two left on it. Than re-gift the card to an unsuspecting person and write $25 or $50 on the amount. You should save the card that comes with it. Needless to say when its time to pay the check they will quickly figure out that you got them. Just make sure the person you do it to can afford to pay for dinner. If you don't want to go that far you can always just hand out fake gift cards, it still gets them just not as drastically.

• Funny Gift Wrap - It’s great because you don’t have to wait until the present is opened to get some laughs. It works great if you really want to give the person a nice gift instead of a gag but still get some laughs along the way. It’s always good to get there early and make your present on of the first on the table in a visible place, that way each placement after yours will get a good chuckle.

• Fake Poop - This is great for that special person who you think is full of it, or just deserves a real crappy gift. Whatever you intensions may be this make a great surprise when that box is opened. I’d suggest that you take it out of the bag and stick it in some tissue paper in a very nicely wrapped box, it works like a charm. The reactions you get are truly priceless.

• Scary Gift Box - It’s very simple to pull, just remove from the wrapper and put the paper on it and you’re all set. Now it’s time for that unsuspecting recipient to open it and your goal will be fully achieved.

• Inflatable Husband or Wife - Do you have that one person in your family that is still single and everyone is waiting for them to get married? Than this one is the best gag gift that you could possibly give them. If not, I’m sure you’ll be able to find the right party or occasion to spring this one on the perfect victim. Multiple uses for either a gag or prank.

• I’m not sure how big your yacht is but I have a 38 foot yacht. Ever have that person who always requests expensive gifts? Or just feels the need to ask for outrageous gifts that no one can afford just to be funny. This is the perfect solution, now you can give them a 38 foot yacht at an affordable price.

• Giant Wine Glass - Have you ever been at a party that the wine has been the focus, or you may even know a wino or two. It can be a very funny gift that makes a little point but is still very useful. It holds a full bottle of wine that can be shared by two or just hogged by one, either way you are sure to get some good laughs when this one is opened.
